1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services and website. By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our services.


2. About Us

Bas Does Gas provides domestic and commercial services including:

  • Central heating installation and repair
  • Boiler servicing, repairs, and installations
  • General plumbing and emergency call-outs

We operate across Coventry and Warwickshire and are fully registered and insured to carry out gas and plumbing services.


3. Appointments and Access

When you book a service with us:

  • You confirm that you are the owner or have permission to approve work at the property.
  • You agree to provide access at the agreed time.
  • Missed appointments without 24 hours’ notice may incur a call-out fee.

4. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Quotes are subject to site inspection and may be revised if the scope of work changes.
  • Pricing excludes unforeseen circumstances (e.g. access issues, hidden damage) unless explicitly included.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • We accept bank transfer, debit/credit card, or cash.
  • Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Cancellations

  • You can cancel up to 24 hours before the appointment without charge.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a minimum call-out charge.
  • In the case of prepaid work, you may be entitled to a refund minus any reasonable deductions for work already undertaken.

7. Warranty and Liability

  • All workmanship is guaranteed for [typically 12 months] unless stated otherwise.
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and appliances.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing issues, faults caused by misuse, or damage arising from work not carried out by us.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out, unless otherwise required by law.

8. Emergencies and Out-of-Hours Work

Emergency call-outs are subject to availability and may carry premium rates. These will be discussed and agreed before work begins.


9. Customer Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the property and job.
  • Keep pets and children away from the work area for safety.
  • Inform us of any relevant hazards (e.g. asbestos, electrics).

10. Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Any data collected will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR. We only use your data to provide our services and respond to enquiries.


11. Complaints and Disputes

We aim to provide excellent service. If you are unhappy, please contact us at info@basdoesgas.co.uk. We will aim to resolve your complaint within 5 working days.

If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve your complaint, you may have the right to contact a certified alternative dispute resolution provider or refer the matter to a relevant trade body.


12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance.


13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
